A quick question

by Volker Weber

The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.

Who do you think said this?

Well, I knew it without the help of google. I'm just not shure, if that paints a good or a bad picture of me ;-)

I actually had this quote in my blog's draft documents view... I read it last week and it sent chills up my spine.

the dark side of mankind, one will lead, they will follow.

interesting parallels:

For those of you who haven't seen it yet.

I’m a US citizen and I did have to Google it. I found a different translation that used the word ‘peacemakers’ instead of ‘pacifists.’ I was about to email this quote to some friends and I decided to use the ‘peacemakers’ translation because it sounds better.

Then it dawned on me… it is a warning sign that the word pacifist has such a negative connotation in this country.

it sounds like GWB...
