Funnyfox - Firefox commercials
by Ragnar Schierholz
As SpiegelOnline reports, the Mozilla Foundation has published three funny commercials for Firefox at Funnyfox. Go check them out :-).

The Mobile is pretty funny but predictable, "The Office" is kind of disturbing, and "The Notebook" is REALLY disturbing. Use Firefox and your head will fall off? I don't really get it.
My $0.02, no refunds.
i laught a lot. Pretty good stuff. I like it a bit confusing :)
I really like, use and recommend Firefox, but these spots are just a tad off. I don't finde them particularly funny to start with - they made me in fact feel rather uneasy. With so many creative minds behind the project, one would expect they could have came up with something more appealing.
came = come
Need... to... get... some... sleep.
I think, the tagline of "feel the difference", "taste the difference" and "see the difference" has some coolnes, though I dont want to get the meaning of "tasting" my browser.
I will predict some more brainless spots to come witht taglines like "smell the difference", "hear the difference"... All of them have in common, that you also could use a tagline "smoking too much pot is not good for you"

Hey, folks, this is marketing! It's primary (if not sole) purpose is to create attention to and interest in the product.
Interest, I don't know, but attention is certainly created by these commercials and as SpiegelOnline pointed out: They reach anyone, no matter how good or bad his or her english is!
I think that is a very crucial point in web-based marketing, very often you can't really limit your target audience to a particular language and thus it is difficult to create generally perceived messages. And here the creators of these clips have done a great job, me thinks.
