Linda & Friends

by Volker Weber

We are spending a wonderful time with friends in Scotland. Linda is part of the family. I believe she is not a dumb blonde, but rather a very smart dog. :-) We are having way to much food and The Barbecue hasn't even started yet. I know that people like to joke about the quality of British food. Please don't make this joke about Scottish food. You should rather go to the 63 Tay Street Restaurant in Perth and find yourself completely stunned.

Hi Volker,
very nice foto! She looks so knowing... I would trust her. ;-)
Didn't know that scotland gets sunshine...

Just go at the right time and you'll get more sunshine than you think. Especially during the long summer days.

Volker, not sure if it's still on when you travel back, for something different than the plain old Pilsner style German beer you could try some Islay beer at the Island Ale Festival (part of the Westend Festival).

Shh - Volker - dont tell folks that Scottish food is fantastic. They'll all want to come here and have some.. :-)

Hi Volker, Good to meet you - the food was indeed excellent!

Fantastic photo, I love the lighing.

Would agree: Scottish food ROCKS.

The grub you get in the ClubHouse Hotel in Aberdeen is particularly delicious, would heartily recommend :)

Also & lest not forget, the beer is FAR cheaper than back home in Ireland!
