Notes 7 disappeared from PassportAdvantage

by Volker Weber

Still available on Partnerworld. Does anybody know what is going on?

Comments

Just looked in PassportAdvantage. I can still see the ND7 downloads...

Thanks Chris, maybe the reader was looking in the wrong place. I am not saying Domino disappeared. Just the Notes client. Is it in the eAssembly?

Not there now...

Hello Volker, hello Chris,

seems that the reader wasn't that blind. Im unable to download neither the server nor the client from the passport advantage site.
I did a search over new products from the last three month and had a match for on ND7 multi OS eAssembly , english from 30-Aug-2005.
I clicked it and in the download page I cannot se any server or client ...

That's interesting Ulrich. If you look at my above list, the only server available for download was i5 (good to know because that's what we run!).

Check out this post I just put up at my blog...

http://cwhisonant.blogspot.com/2005/09/notes-70-pulled-from-passport.html

meanwhile both domino and notes vanished from partnerworld aswell. sametime, quickplace, lei and all other stuff are still available.

what a shame, i just wanted to give quickplace 7.0 a try but i can't since i had not downloaded domino 7.0 while it was there :-)

regards,
sascha

still not there, does anyone knows the reason

Not there for me now either. May have been a cached page I found the first time?

We had a little bit more luck and downloaded everything before it disappeared. So feel free to send me some beer and i will send you a dvd with lotus notes/domino 7. ;-)
Does anybody knows why it's no longer online?

Michael, I'd be careful using the word "luck" in this case. Be aware that you've got a version which probably has problems serious enough to withdraw the download files.

Of course it could be a problem and i'm not planning to get these things online ;-) We just made an upgrade to 6.5.4 FP 1 and thats enough for the next time.

I have received an answer on what's going on... a "file issue" (which I realize doesn't say much of anything). I'm trying to get more details and will post/share when available.
