This one is about the headache one gets after the "impact" of the Microsoft Livemeeting solution, isn´t it? - Meta: is there a certain type of commercials that cannot be misinterpreted? And what makes the difference?
Very funny ad. The tricky part is in not inadvertently pitching the product to the exact folks who ENJOY taking business trips.
You need to read WAAAAY between the lines and bring out the conspiracy theories! See, the ad was a dig at Lotus/IBM. The guy was "Vice President of International Sales" - can you think of any well known Lotus International Sales Executives? Ones that do a lot of business travelling? Ones that usually (rightly so) make fun of Microsoft collaboration products?
