Workspace or Bookmarks

by Volker Weber

The results of this poll have been pretty stable going from 60 to over 400 votes. They have always been in the 76...77 vs. 23...24 band. It looks like we can say that three out of four voted for the workspace.

Unfortunate color choice. Try yellow/orange again for the Workspace, Namco-style ;)

Nice Keynote graph Volker...

LOL... looks like a giant PacMan ;-)

Richard: Namco == PacMan, Ms. PacMan.
Atari generation, ya know ;-)

Hey,
but the poll result shows only the preferences of the visitors which are 90% developers, admins or powerusers.

The average user will use the workspace with over 90%. We can see it daily through the remote helpdesk support.

You can send a message to "all". The polls are still open. Just kidding. :-)

I for one think, that most unexperienced users stick to what a) they are given by the admin or even more b) what their colleagues use. So the bias here might actually be not sooo great.

Wolfgang & Ragnar: The 'skewed' poll results have also been discussed here.
I added to the skewage by voting 'Workspace', too ;-)

Users complain about the pre-windows look and feel of the workspace/chicklets, so we give them a choice to use bookmarks. What do they continue to use? The workspace. Bloody hell.
