Samsung to ship Origami UMPC
by Volker Weber
According to the The Register the Samsung "Origami" UMPC goes on sale next week for around $1400. At this price point they only need to make four of them: One for President Lee to show around, one for Billg to ignore while he is using a yellow pad, one for Steve Ballmer to throw at Google, and one for Robert Scoble.

Will it run OS X?
I was going to get an Intel Mac and then run XP within OS X and then, using virtualisation on the virtual XP machine, try and get OS X to run under XP but I feared I may cause some kind of rip in the time space continuum.
Make that five: one UMPC for Wolfgang Schäuble over here in Germany, when Ballmer and Schäuble deliver their keynotes about the future of secure computing on April 25th in Berlin. When visiting the CeBIT this year, Schäuble complained about PC being to large for his purposes - and mobiles to small. Maybe the UMPC will fit.
Alternative: www.nokia.com/770
--Detlef
