VoIP phone plugin for Sametime available

Zurich, October 24th, 2006 – The new integrated softphone product line is-phone wins the VoIPGermany Award 2006 in the category "Applications". This is the 4th award for iscoord and underlines iscoord's leading position for integrated IP telephony softphone clients. The first product of the is-phone product line - is-phone 7.0 for IBM Lotus Sametime 7.5 plug-in - is now available for download as a free 60-days trial.
There is no IBM Lotus Sametime server installation needed to install the application. Only the IBM Lotus Sametime 7.5 client (IBM free trial download link) and the is-phone plug-in are needed to make phone calls between Sametime/is-phone users or to make calls to any phone number by using a SIP service from a local provider/carrier.
Registration is required for the download. You will then discover that the plugin only installs on Windows. I don't know if it can only run on Windows, but the installer is an .exe file.

The Trial version is Windows only. We will support other platforms (Linux / Mac) in 2007.
