Diet Coke & Mentos - The Domino Effect

Image what we'd miss w/o the internet...
I'd like to point out the rich and varied skills that people from my part of the world bring to the cultural advancement of the human race. Fritz Grobe and Stephen Voltz -- the guys who do this -- live 45 miles from me in Buckfield, Maine.
We're all very proud.
I should definitely change my field of research.
Also a nice experiment: "Will it blend?"
;-)
Does anyone know the environmental affects of 502 litters of diet coke and 1506 Mentos on the field they did this experiment on? ;-)
From a marketing perspective, I love that both the Coca-Cola and Mentos companies used this "viral experiment" positively, and turned the entire phenomenon into real marketing campaigns. Maybe someone can film the affects of Diet Coke and Mentos on a Lotus Notes CD? :-)
What is this "CD" of which you speak?
@Andrew "that people from my part of the world "
but their names "Fritz Grobe" and "Stephen Voltz" sound very german (OK, a Stephen would be a Stefan or Stephan in german).
What I first thougt that I have much experiences with domino effects that doesn't work at the right time. Mostly one thing is to early or miss something or even doesn't work.
So I thought how many bottles they had needed for such a fun if they didn't get it on the first take, maybe the 3rd or 10th? How many bottles did they have to pay.
But at the end and with the strong support of coke & mentos everything is possible or as toyota called it in german for a long time "nichts ist unmöglich" (nothing is impossible).
And they had new techniques in this domino scenario....
Maybe Ed should invite them to make a Lotus Domino Show at the Disney ressort during Lotus, no better DOMINO SPHERE.
Okay they have to wear a yellow/blue overall.
