TT Polaroids

Assume you would buy a new Audi TT for yourself today. Choose from one of these five colors: black, grey, red, silver, white. Which one would you order? Restults:

Do they no longer offer green? I had the first green Audi TT in the US, or so the salesman said.

For an additional 2.000 Euros they will paint your car in almost every color you want ;-)

I only would buy the previous model of the Audi TT. The new one ist almost boring and there are no more outstanding details. :-( I owend a yellow one, until October, now I switched to a sportscar out of Zuffenhausen. :-)

I voted for grey but I'd rather have an Audi A8 attached to the color. :-) Although, a R8 would'nt be bad either.

Clearly: White, with black alloys. Sounds odd in the beginning, but is the hell of a combination. Doesn´t get half as hot inside in the sun, and has a visibility to other traffic which is without comparison.

Well, if you like the attention, that is.

Silver with gun metal (=dark grey) alloy rims.

BTW : You'll get a new TT with 10-15% discount in Germany at least =:)

The color wouldn't matter if they'd make it more compatible to long legs. I don't know about the new model, but I suppose they didn't change much on that, so no option for me, steering with your knees is not covered by any assurance.

@Niko, the old one was a revolution, the new one is just an evolution. But, finally adequate for tall people. @Patric,the new one is definetely bigger and most importantly I can finally see what's going on outside, whereas the old one felt like a small submarine.
Would I buy one, mmmh probably not.

@Niko: Good News, I will try one next time I visit a VW-seller. But unfortunately, the car is definitely out of my price range.

@Volker: Inquiring minds want to know - will this poll influence a purchasing decision for you?

If you are asking whether I have plans to buy a TT, the answer is no. ;-)

I think the button "Real Men don't drive TT" is missing in the poll.

Call me boring and old-fashioned, but, like Henry Ford already said, there is only one color a car should have:

"Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black."

Marc Henkel, 2007-01-08 10:27

The grey looks pretty hot to me!!

Nice comment Henning!

Sorry, I have to go to the loo now...

Lets see what Jeremy had to say about it:

"I have decided to start a homosexual motorcycle display team. We shall travel through South America, performing naked after taking vast quantities of high-grade cocaine. This, strangely, is an idea I got from the Audi TT."

"It was an affront, really, that a car named in honour of the 1905 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy race and styled with a Bauhaus look should be as inert to drive as a bucket full of argon."

Need I say more?
