Off to Valencia

Looks like the weather will be nicer here as I am heading to Valencia this weekend. But then again, on Monday I won't regret it:

flights

As marked bold my bets are on:

Match 1: Emirates Team New Zealand
Match 2: +39 Challenge (if they had not lost their mast)
Match 4: BMW Oracle Racing
Match 5: Team Shosholoza
Match 6: Luna Rossa Challenge

Comments

I totally agree with your bets, as long as BMW-Oracle wins ;-)....

I am always late and always in the wrong places.

Málaga.

Can't argue with your picks, though sooner or later we're going to see an upset.

And I won't mention the envy in knowing where you're going to be enjoying today!

Simon, I sure hope that Team Shosholoza is going to be successful. If they happened to sail against the Alinghi, my loyalty would be seriously jeopardized.

And yes, I envy Volker, too. =)

Go Emirates Team New Zealand, I just hope we give a better showing than we did in the defense of the cup last time.

Having gotten over the envy, I have posted my predictions here

Well, today is history. :-)

ITA94 (Luna rossa) beats BMW Oracle 5-1 and kicks them out of the finals.
The super-favourite Yanks didn't even make to the finals of the Louis Vuitton Cup.

That hasn't happened in 156 years. Goodbye Larry.....
