Latest USB gadget

I'll take 3 :-)

Now THAT is a useful USB gadget. I want one. If it's not locked to work only with french wines. Judging from the iPhone situation in France, that would probably not be the case.

If you can find the usbguinness version it would be the perfect giveaway for ILUG2008.

WoIP!

Hmmm USBGuinness. Would that be beer-to-beer technology? Or beer-to-peer? ;-)

Oh come on! That’s so unrealistic!

The French would never drink wine out of a metal tap like that.

tastes good, AND violates the laws of physics! Revolutionaire!

Old news. Banyan offered wine over the network years ago...

@Frank - sure, but did it contribute half as much to the sum of human happiness? I don't think so...

Magnifique !!

mmmmmBeer.

Great Idea... while going so far... a USB Urinal would be a great Idea... So you can stay at your desk all the time.

The cumulated pee could be sold to pubs in Cologne afterwards. They'll happily pay for the "beer". :)

Michael Adams, 2007-12-05 14:30

@Michael: That's disgusting!

Roland Leißl, 2007-12-05 15:35

Check it out: http://www.usbwine.com actually exists! LOL

Gerald Mengisen, 2007-12-06 10:38

Nearly as useful as a usbcupwarmer (to speak in vowe's terms, this has a great WAF - wife acceptance factor).
@Richard: we should discuss this beer-to-beer technology in more detail :-)

Site exists but when I tried to order some taps I was a little disapointed finding it is only fiction ;-)

Volker must be working hard - this is the longest I've known you go without posts in a long time...

Perhaps he is still testing the gadget? ;-)

Perhaps he has overtested and is recovering ? :-)

Andy Dennis, 2007-12-07 14:04

Nah, I get it! He has two USB gadgets plugged in: the wine tap and the cup warmer. T'is the season for heating wine... ;-)
