Volker ?????
Well don't leave it there... dangling in front of us ... like the grapes above Tantalus ... WHAT WAS IT LIKE ?

Steve

Sooooo nice it is... Was having my A3 serviced a few weeks ago and had a chance to chat with an owner... It was one of the 8 cars he drove regularly, he wasn't counting his race cars...

;-)

*sigh*

What was it like? Entirely as expected. It's easy to drive, like a Porsche. Unlike a Porsche, you can't take any stuff with you. There is a tiny boot (trunk for you Americans :-) ) in the front, but I have not looked at that.

It's the kind of car I would like to have for a weekend. And then buy an A6 and a TT. Or a Carrera.

I'm green with envy...

Volker, why A6 and TT?

I would try to get an Avant RS6 (or Avant S6) - so no need to buy a TT anymore, so one could invest some money in some 40to fuel truck filled with Super Plus fuel.

And yes, the R8 is really nice.

No space for a fuel truck. But I do like the TT.

But I do like the TT.
Me too ;-)

Ah shucks Vowe, damn you for dangling stuff like that in front of innocent family fathers that just bought a new car. ;-)

Somewhat dampens the new car owners pride.

Despite that I still like my C4 Grand Picasso in Citrin Yellow ( EGS 6 HDI 110 FAP 80kw )

Glad you had fun riding it, Martin

Martin, what a pretty car. You will have much fun with it going places. And I am pretty sure your kids make more noise than any 8-cyl engine. ;-)
