Prepare to be blown away. Seriously.

piclens

Paul just told me about PicLens, a browser plugin that lets you immerse yourself in the pictures on lots of sites. Flickr, Photobucket, Picasa Web Albums ... they are all there. It's truly amazing stuff. Watch the demo or go get the plugin. You will be blown away.

Yes, I am blown away. Thank you.

seen that before and it looks really nie, but does it work wth flock without any problems?

Yes, it does.

Overwhelming. And Gallery is going to support it.

My one (small) gripe is that I don't think I can get to the site from the picture. If I am wrong, great.
For example, I do a google image search, and find a picture I like - how do I get to the site?

Either way - stunning little tool

Paul, you can. There is a small arrow in the upper left which is easily overlooked when you are currently immersed. :-)

and so there is!

Cheers Volker... this little gadget is now just perfect

that was a great find guys, thanks

wow

To bad its a bit slow when you browse your local pics.

Jesper Henriz, 2008-03-26 22:32

No Browser here, thats been supported ..

I've been trying to convert people to this plugin for a while now.

I think its a lovely piece of work

I also really like this plugin. A short addition for those who use Safari (like me): The viewing options of the Firefox-plugin are even more amazing IMHO.

re-cool

Unglaublich. Danke für diesen Beitrag! :-)

doesn't work on firefox3 yet

and firefox3 is even more impressive

Now this is a really nice plugin. However, what really makes me enjoy it is the way I can use my MightyMouse to scroll through the gallery. If I were using my ordinary Microsoft mice, it wouldn't be half as good.

really cool!
