Operating systems and browsers on vowe dot net

Stats for last week. Just a few thoughts:

Stats on microsoft.com will be completely different.

Interessante Statistik.

0.12% a bit of that is me :)

Any interesting numbers to show on mobile device usage, besides iPhone?

"Mac OS X is much higher than market share suggests. More than four in five visitors are on Intel Macs."

Don't you mean one in five visitors are on a mac? otherwise, not sure how you got your statement there ... :)

John, the stats above are for the last week, not overall.

And hey, you can have Windoze visitors who are actually visiting on Mac / Intel, don’t forget ;o)

John, four in five Mac users are on Intel.

additional thoughts from me are:
- at least 40% of mac users use firefox instead of safari
- vista is performing worse than any windows before
- vowe.net has a lot more entries about mac os (which explains the high level of mac visitors in comparison to linux)

I just switched a month ago from firefox to safari (with xp at work and leopard at home) - and I will probably swap back again soon. safari looks nicer but it's not that compatible to some pages as firefox is.
