RIM has a new Desktop Manager for download but I will have to wait a bit to actually test it.

Comments

That's the typical speed when downloading from RIM - seems like they are limiting their bandwidth - which does not make any sense to me.

its kinda odd with RIM downloads a sp download is slow but a trial of BES is though the download manager and is normally very fast.

Kinda annoying they dont use the download manager for everything

Neid,
download rates in Singapore hover around 20k unless you do 3am in the morning (guess they need to upgrade their deep packet inspectors).
:-) stw

well, i've seen slower downloads before - let's say from some ibm site... ;-)

Partnerworld download is averaging 1200 KB/s today ( peaked at over 2000 kB/s )for 8.0.2 download

Not bad !
