Well, "vowe is a good mother" gets a new dimension. ;-)
Well, according to them, cnn.com is also written by a woman. But they can't figure out chicagotribune.com because apparently it is not in English.
I get different results depending on what the current top story is. They range from mostly gender neutral but slightly female (54%) to more strongly male (85%). It's likely doing some fairly straightforward statistical stuff like number of adjectives vs adverbs, number of first person pronouns, and things like that.
