Liebe Nokia,
ich halte Euch gerne zugute, dass Ihr mich zu Weihnachten grüßt. Ich finde es auch gut, dass Ihr auf ein Geschenk kommt, das man verzehren kann und nicht für immer aufhebt. Soweit alles richtig. Aber einen leeren Adventskalender als Gag so durch die Landschaft zu schicken, das ist eine mehr als dumme Idee. Erstens kam der ziemlich zerknittert an. Zweitens finde ich diese Ressourcenverschwendung doof. Drittens werde ich einer Tat verdächtigt, die ich nie begehen würde.
Schickt mir ein N900. Das bringt Euch wenigstens was.

Die N900 ist nicht slecht, aber es gibt nur 53 Applicationen zum herunterladen.
Ich hoffe das noch ein par dazu kommen (wie Travel(l)er), sonst glaube Ich nicht das es ein Hit wird.
Der Kalender ist scheinbar nur ein Detail, doch es passt exakt in Bild: Nokia macht seit einiger Zeit sehr viel falsch. Würde mich nicht wundern, wenn die bald weg vom Fenster sind...
Vince, I agree with you there should be more apps for the n900 however it has only just been launched and the preorders have not yet been fulfilled.
The N900 from what Nokia and the fanboys tell us should not require that many apps though since you can surf the web almost normally.
You should not need a NYT app or an ebay app, LinkedIN app, google app.. You should even be able to run spotify in the background from a normal webpage. Mark installed powertwitter (really cool ff add on) on it
The one thing I wish for is that they would put OVI maps version 3 on it and not version 1 as it is currently. I am very much looking forward to Volkers full review.
Andre, I very much agree with what you said. I think the sheer *number* of available programms is not the most important criteria for a platform. If it is as powerful and versatile as Maemo5, it becomes evenless important. And, by the way, Maemo has a large community, the number of applications will explode in the next weeks / months.
My N900 is due to arrive monday or tuesday. Now if there was not this travel which keeps me away from home until thursday evening ;) ;)
I've played since several weeks with the N900 and it is another proof to me that Nokia is simply doomed. The OS may have some potential but not with a hardware like this. The only good thing about it is its keyboard (especially compared to the Droid's), the rest is a brick with a resistive display. And any new OS that needs an intro movie to be properly used is so 2K and makes me disagree with Hubert: Only developers payed by Nokia are willing to develop for a sinking ship.
