A rugged everyday camera

I have recommended this camera to a couple of families, with kids who like to drop things. It has now been tested and approved in the toughest household known to mankind: Francie's cast-away indoor camping in the Carribean. It's available in many colors, so you can get one less flashy.
Actually, I never had one myself, so I can't refuse to give it back.
PS: Who wants to see some fish? Ask the camera chick. :-)

Allein, dass es kein ausfahrbares Objektiv hat, ist sehr wichtig. Wir haben eine Kamera für unsere Große gekauft und ein kleiner Sturz aus 10 cm Höhe auf das Objektiv und das Ding war unbrauchbar. Und das passiert nun einmal den Großen und den Kleinen.
Das Tolle an den Digitalkameras ist, die Kinder sehen sofort die Ergebnisse und können knipsen soviel sie wollen. Und so ziehen unser Kinder los und machen zig Fotos und probieren sich (und die Kamera) aus. Super.
Geniale Kamera!!! Urlaubs-, Familien-, Kleinkinder, Süß&Salzwasser-erprobt.
Das beste ist, dass man einfach nicht aufpassen muss. Wasser, Sand, Runterfallen.....
Die Bilder sind klasse, die Videos sind brilliant, in HD. Klare Kaufempfehlung. (vowe, nochmals Danke für den Tip vor unserem letzen Sommerurlaub).

i've tried everything I know but it's dead.
killed by a few grains of sand and a few drops of water.
it was fun while it lasted though, which was about two weeks.
Two weeks seem to be pretty good with the abuse it gets from Francie & Co. ;-)
