Looks like a delicious heart attack. ;)

Ah, perfekt für mein Fleischblog.

Kristof Doffing, 2010-02-25 11:14

"Interesting" in the meaning of ...?

Sven Richert, 2010-02-25 11:23

Hmm; chocolate with chili is old hat, but chocolate with bacon? (Can we look forward to a test-report? :-)

Jan-Piet Mens, 2010-02-25 11:26

@jan-piet mens: i'ld bet on a 'editor refuses to give it back'-award :)

For those with more curiosity: Vosges Chicago Mo's Dark Chocolate Bacon Bar

Ed Brill, 2010-02-25 12:10

We've tried it and it is good. Not something I would have every day (agree with Daniel) but it was worth trying.

Wenn Du sowas magst, hier sind zwei nette Restaurants wenn Du mal wieder drüben bist:

Heart Attack Grill sues Heart Stoppers Sports Grill

I've had the milk chocolate version. Not too bad and not as strange as you'd think. The salty and smoky undertones of the bacon work well with chocolate.

Wouldn't have one every day... that honor would go to the Vosges Red Fire Bar... but I would eat one if you gave it to me.

These bars are quite yummy for occasional consumption. The concoctions that owner Katrina Markoff comes up with unusual and flavorful. If you have the opportunity to try them, I highly recommend sampling.

Daniel Lieber, 2010-02-25 21:12

Yes, it does look interesting but nothing beats the deep-fried mars bar

Oswald Prucker, 2010-02-25 21:29

Bacon.... Is there anything it can't do?
