Find and share parking

by Volker Weber

Open Spot works by letting people who are leaving parking spots share their spots with people who are searching for parking.

That is going to need a lot of users to become useful.

The .apk is on code... Follow the link

Volker Weber, 2010-07-10 18:38

Which link? All I see is a Market link and this...

Thomas Cloer, 2010-07-10 19:01

I am pretty sure there was a link to th source and an .API file, but I may be mixing this up.

Pretty useless in Cities like Munich where almost all parking space is "licensed" to people living in the same quarter or pay-per-hour (max. 2 hours).

Axel Koerv, 2010-07-11 17:11

@Axel No, pretty useful there as well. At least when you're looking for a parking lot in "your" area (which I usually do)...

As most of my articles roll off the front page rather quickly, I am making an archive of previous posts available here. You can also use the handy search box at the top of the page if you are looking for something particular.
