IBM Connect :: Yay or Nay?

by Volker Weber

IBM Connect, the artist formerly known as Lotusphere, kicks off next Sunday. I will be going, as I have done the last 17 years. But what about you? Will I see you in Orlando like I saw you in previous years? You don't have to comment, but please drop me a mail by clicking below:

I'll be dropping by to see friends, but won't be officially attending the conference.

Tim Tripcony, 2014-01-20 10:43

I count that as a Yay. ;-)

Volker Weber, 2014-01-20 10:45

All of us HADSL chaps will be there. Looking forward to catching up with you.

Bill Buchan, 2014-01-20 11:35

Yes, I will be attending.

Gregg Eldred, 2014-01-20 12:47

I'll miss many of the people, and the late night/early morning bonding over rounds of alcohol.

Tom Duff, 2014-01-20 13:46

Unfortunately, I am not able to attend. I'll second Tom's comments.

Don McNally, 2014-01-20 14:11

My team and I will be there.

John Roling, 2014-01-20 15:18

Thomas Lang, Jens Polster, Henning Kunz and I will be there as every year, among others to prepare our Connect Comes to You Frankfurt, but mainly to enjoy both the community and the technical information. Curious how the conference will change with all the additional stuff.

Hans-Peter Kuessner, 2014-01-20 15:48

I will be there, and I will miss anyone not being there, like Tom and Don...

Karl-Henry Martinsson, 2014-01-20 16:27

I will be there

Mitch Cohen, 2014-01-20 17:05

Gayle and I will not be returning this year.

Bruce Elgort, 2014-01-20 17:48

I won't be there. I have a family conflict, but am not sure I would have gone anyway.

Ben Langhinrichs, 2014-01-20 18:01

Same as Ben, I am not attending this year. Don't have much time anyway because of a small new family member and there are other conferences that more closely match our interests and recent work focus.

Karsten Lehmann, 2014-01-20 19:04

I won't be there. We've invested too heavily in Microsoft's collaboration suite to justify it any longer. I'll miss everyone, of course, and my family will miss the annual vacation to Disney.

Rob McDonagh, 2014-01-20 19:29

I won't be there. No longer with IBM. I will miss seeing my friends and colleagues and wish everyone the very best.

Brent Peters, 2014-01-20 19:43

Am there, leaning new stuff and missing those that aren't there with us.

Andy Donaldson, 2014-01-20 21:14

I'll be there again. Hoping to see if some of our new sidebar apps can rekindle some of the attendees love of all things Notes.

Frank Paolino, 2014-01-20 22:13

Attending.

Bill Malchisky Jr., 2014-01-20 23:36

I am attending and really looking forward to it.

Graham Acres, 2014-01-21 01:46

Sadly, no. I won't be there this year.

I will miss seeing you, Volker, and my many other friends.

As most of my articles roll off the front page rather quickly, I am making an archive of previous posts available here. You can also use the handy search box at the top of the page if you are looking for something particular.
