A wave of new companies have recently tried to replace the communication channel people love to hate: email. Slack pretends to be “an email killer”, Asana promises “teamwork without email” etc. But the promise of a world without email is a fantasy.

No doubt about it. But there are many use cases where there ard better alternative. I tried to simmarize them. Find a link here: berts2c.de.

No doubt about it. Blocking or even deleting mails at certain times as discussed currently cannot be a solution. But there are use cases were collaborative tools are the better choice. Find some thoughts I have (some of them stolen) in an eEook linked in my blog berts2c.de and also as an entry.
