Is software's future in the Groove?: "While Groove isn't trying to be a consumer application at first, preferring to focus on the enterprise, consumer awareness is important. That's where Microsoft can help. Groove will be integrated into Microsoft's (MSFT: news, chart, profile) Instant Messenger, which is part of the upcoming Windows XP operating system. An applet inside Instant Messenger will let users see shared workspaces and invite others in."
