Bad interface design

What's wrong with this picture? It is next to impossible to see the most important information in the Groove contacts: Who is currently online and available. It is a good thing that you can authenticate contacts but unfortunately the feature was overdone with chatty icons.
This has been broken with version 2.0 and I had hoped it would be fixed in 2.1 but I think we need to wait some more. Ceterum censeo: We need print and search.
