Mike Golding is puzzled by the same question as many other application designers:
There is something empowering about building your own XML data formats, it's like you are building something that is meaningful, something that others might one day have to learn. If you believe that then there is a responsibility to get it right, but what is right when it comes to formatting and constructing your XML? One of the big questions is elements or attributes?
