Bad news for wardrivers
by Esther Schindler
An essential tool for WiFi may be temporarily unavailable:
The tornado that ripped through Jackson, Tenn., Sunday shut down the Pringles plant there -- the only one in North America -- and Procter & Gamble has temporarily suspended all U.S. distribution of the snack food.

I refer to c't 9/03 tests: Espresso coffee cans are better antennas than Pringles. Supply is good, no tornados in Northern Italy ;-)
Also, the headline is misleading. The Pringles antenna is unidirectional. Hardly what you need for wardriving. :-)
Hmm. Are tornados peculiar to North America? I can't recall ever having seen a reference to one in Europe, or elsewhere.

fretting over the safety of coffee beans worldwide
Tornados exist in Europe, but they are weak,"small" and short lived, nothing compared to the US ones . They only produce minor damage (if any) and therefore are rarely mentioned on the news.
Anyway, P&G being a multinational company are producing Pringles in Europe as well. Therefore no need to create an worldwide pringles fund to preserve that species ;-)
