How to uninstall MacGIMP
by Volker Weber
sudo rm -rf /opt /usr/X11R6/lib/libjpeg.9.dylib /usr/X11R6/lib/libjpeg.dylib
Caution: This removes everything from /opt. If you have installed other stuff there you need to follow one of the other hints.
Comments
If you want a machine completely cleaned of MacGIMP you might also want to do a
rm -rf ~/.gimp-1.2
to get rid of the settings MacGIMP stores in your userdir. In case you created more than one user account on your Mac, you'll have to do this for every user who fired up MacGIMP.
