Lotusphere Online was much easier. That threw only "Error 500".

Hm, in US TV I've seen a couple of spots with a small print "dramatization" printed in a corner of the screen when things were exaggerated to make the point. I think this one would certainly deserve this as well... ;-)

Why? If IBM is as good as they tell me all the time, they should be able to resolve "Network Difficulties" in a matter of a few hours, shouldn't they?

Volker Weber, 2004-02-01

Oooops, this was of course supposed to go in the previous entry's comments... Sorry 'bout this...
(Maybe it's still to early to do serious work due to jet lag...)

Voler, I think IBM should not have such problems in any way. I think they are big enough for having good admins and they produce software. They should never have such failures online...
But anyway I think a lot can be done much better with Domino instead of Websphere ...

IBM can't run any of their general websites that well though: I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen internal server errors, broken links, and time-out pages over the last few years.

"We are sorry, but *you* are experiencing network difficulties ..."
