Oh I don’t know, I have days like that... ;-)

I've seen this before (with Libby specifically). She uses Trillian -- I am not sure whether that has anything to do with it?

I keep telling her to stop slacking ;-)

If I had been idle for over 290 hours, you'd think I'd actually be a bit more rested.

No, what happens (if you feel like believing me....) is that my Trillian client for AIM drops and picks back up again all the dang time. Half the time, when it does, it tells me I'm signed in to two or more places... only, I've only got one instance, etc. running. So unless someone else has my password and is logged on and pretending to be me, well... it's a fluke.

Trillian has big problems showing and transmitting the correct online and idle time with AIM. You'll find a lot of reports about that on the Trillian forums.

For example, Trillian shows me all the day, that Volker is online since one minute. I can hardly believe that.

The opposite can happen with Groove (when installed on multiple devices) ... I was listed as perpetually online and active when of course I wasn't. Unfortunately, Groove model of presence is basically online or offline (literally) with no in between. Needless to say, on too many occasions folks would eventually get to me and wonder why I hadn't responded to their messages ;-(
