The real drama in Formula One is not whether Michael Schumacher wins yet another title. It is when and if McLaren-Mercedes will have a car that can finish a race and then win it. The team that made Mika Hakkinen World Champion in '98 and '99 has lost the title four years in a row to Michael Schumacher and Ferrari. Last year McLaren-Mercedes had to race in the 2002 car because they could not get the new car on the track. Despite having a budget of 280 million Euros the current #1 driver Kimi Raikkonen has not finished one of the three races so far. As it stands the team is a distant #5 behind Ferrari, Renault, Williams-BMW and BAR-Honda. BILD headlines "Silberfackel" (silver torch) instead of "Silberpfeil" (silver arrow). There is no use spending hundreds of millions and then being ridiculous.
I see dead people in the McLaren-Mercedes team.
