Oracle is hiring

by Volker Weber

I came across your contact information on the Internet. I thought you might be interested in or know someone that might be interested in a Product Manager career Opportunity with Oracle Corporation. We are looking for several Product Managers as well as Product Managers / Product Developers for our Collaboration Suite product area. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of Product Management experience, preferably in a Collaborative environment. Although the job description specifically mentions experience with the Oracle product line, we will consider candidates with competitive product experience as well. I was wondering if you would be interested in this opportunity or if you know someone that would be interested.

Sounds interesting? Now look where this person has placed his inquriy. Hint: The owner of this site probably sleeps in IBM pyjamas.

Lotus pyjamas, not IBM pyjamas -- all the old logo stuff still fits me. :)
Now the real question is, how to respond to Mr. Oracle? :)

LOL, looking forward to the response...

Maybe they have a blog based on Oracle Forms for Ed? hmm...

Tobias Müller, 2004-04-08

@Ed: "all the old logo stuff still fits me. :)" - I hope you have obliterated Lotus' former claim "superhuman software" from your trousers. :-))

Andreas Schmidt, 2004-04-08

@Andreas,

Don't ruin Ed's party :-) Only he thinks "it's" Superhuman.

Bruce Elgort, 2004-04-08

A contradiction in terms I’d say, having “Superhuman” and the term “software” on your trousers...

Just how old are those Lotus pajamas? I still have (and wear) a "No Comment" team polo shirt. And I have an umbrella given out at the 5th birthday party, when the Pointer Sisters played at the Wang Center.

Also, I inherited a 1-2-3 "Godiva" sweatshirt that says "Born to code" on it.

(To this day, I can't bear to BUY a t-shirt. I must have 150 of them, given to me for free.)
