Dead Apple power supply

Last night I became the proud owner of a dead power supply. It gets awfully hot but it does not charge the iBook. Swapping with somebody else shows it is the power supply and not the machine. Pfeew.
I wonder how long it will take to get this replaced.

Funny thing, this happened to me last night with my Tibook. I thought it was the laptop too. I have a backup, but no warranty :(
