How about some research
by Volker Weber
President Bush is fond of telling Americans they have liberated Iraq and that the country's future generations will be thankful. The current generation, however, overwhelmingly views U.S. forces as occupiers and wishes they would just leave, according to a poll commissioned by the administration.
I would believe that the majority of the world population wishes President Bush would just leave as well.

I ferverently hope that even the majority of Americans wish the same.
And who is going to tell the next Iraqi generation about the "liberating" US forces (ooops, allied forces of course...)? Most likely this will be the current Iraqi generation...
I kind of doubt though that this conveyed image will much resemble the one of a welcome liberator...
Strange enough, almost any American I have talked to or I have heard/read talk about this has voiced his/her hope for George W. Bush not to be re-elected. This makes me hope...
Then I read the results of surveys and opinion polls and I start to wonder where all those supporters are hiding in the public (well, exposed to me in this case) discussion...
Whereever that might be, stay there when it comes to voting!
if you 'leave' you will most likely need to 'arrive' somewhere else. wonder where he would be welcome.
