If you like Southpark, then you might want to check this out: Team America. The makers of Southpark are coming up with a new movie this fall. And this time it's puppets :-)
To me (and probably to other Germans as well) it looks a lot like the Augsburger Puppenkiste.

Definitly Thunderbird and Stingray. Compared to these Augburger Puppenkiste is a bit old fashioned (nevertheless they are also good).
