Yeah that would have to be a simulator since Mayor Daley closed down Meigs field in the middle of the night last year :-)
That very well could be the couple of inches of snow we got here last night.
Do you know what EXIF is? :-) The picture was taken with a Canon S50 with 1/1000 shutter speed, aperture 4.0 on November, 25 at 11:44am. I was not over Chicago at that time.

Nice shot (have seen more dirt on airplane windows yet). I took it into the digital darkroom and gave it a 5-minutes-makeup (spherical and perspective distortions removed, multiplication layer for increased contrasts added, color balance for more natural colors adjusted). This is the result (877 kB).
