My jaw just dropped when I first heared about that a few days ago.
Good or bad move?
How will IBM's customers react?
...
I just dunno..
Hm, I guess that's a little hard to say. I personally have no experience and I don't know of reports about Leonovo. Generally, I liked my StinkPad, liked it better than other laptops I had. If the performance of Lenovo is appropriately addressing my expectations, I sure will like a Chinese StinkPad just as much. And to be honest, even though I liked them, there is room for improvement. In that light, one could even call it chance for the brand ;-).
Ragnar it is very likely, that they made your Stinkpad already.
;-) stw
I have no idea who really manufactures the Thinkpad's/Stinkpad's but I remember that one of the articles mentioned that Samnina SCI does some work for IBM as well as a competitor of Lenovo in China....
Samnia produced the ThinkTanks IMHO.
In my opinion it's a chance as every change is.
