The opening session webcast is now online. However IBM has set up a barrier you have to pass.

This feels like corporate IT, doesn't it? just compare to Apple.

Well, at least IBM broadcast the keynote in real time. For some reason, Apple decided to delay their webcast (http://www.macworld.com/news/2005/01/10/keynote/index.php)-- this after years of simulcasting the live event on the web.
