Kevin Kelly of Cool Tools fame talks about Tilley Hat. Although I prefer the T2 over the T3, I agree with his assessment. You may spot the T3 in one of those pictures. ;-)

One of my favorite books for any business is "Priceless - Turning Ordinary Products into Extraordinary Experiences", and it's all about creating a total value experience, not just selling "stuff". It's a great book for anyone to read, but I digress. The opening chapter explains what a fantastic product the Tilley Hat is, because they are not selling a mere product... they are selling an adventure. I finally get to see a picture of one after reading all about it. :-)
