Two hours of snow

Same here in Hamburg. This time we have a very long winter with almost permanent snow and ice. Very unusual. Normally in the last years the snow lasted only 2-3 days and only in January. By chance in April you got also a very short snow fall. The last years were also quite dry all the year around.
Isn't there a saying that a hard winter are followed by a gorgeous summer?
