What happens if your site makes the front page of digg.com?
- Daily traffic goes from 5 digits to 6 digits, hits, page views, everything.
- You hope the server does not burn out. It doesn't.
- You place a banner on that page and you collect interesting data.
- Your co-author sends you numerous mails trumpeting his success. ;-)
