flickr2map

Nice mashup: Flickr2Map is a free service that allows Flickr users to link their photos to a variety of different maps. Try my example here. [First seen at Heiko Hebig]

How do you get the geographic location information (latitude and longitude) into your images though? I think the geotagging approach is hardly feasible if you have to do it manually. I guess you'd have to have some kind of GPS support in your camera, right? Does anyone have that already? Do the top models (or even mid-price models) support that today?

Ragnar, I copied it manually from Google Maps ... :(

Ragnar, check this tool and tutorial to geotag flickr images with Google Earth. They also provide a great network link which displays photos around the location you're currently looking at in Google Earth.

And AFAIK there are cameras available which can add GPS info automatically.
