Talk time testing, for real

Amobil has done some real world testing with GSM and UMTS phones. You would be surprised how low the real world talk times are for some of the most acclaimed mobile phones. I was just burned by my N70 when I travelled to Kiel without a charger. I had to borrow one on the second day after talking to Ute at night. The test result is no surprise to me: 2 hours 35 minutes in UMTS mode!

Glück gehabt - habe mir gerade als 2ten UMTS Versuch (das erste Sony UMTS Modell habe ich aufgrund der kurzen Akkuzeiten verkauft), neben meinem Sony K750i noch das Nokia E60 zugelegt. Hält bei intensiv Nutzung (UMTS Zugang, Telefonieren, Arbeiten) wirklich fast einen Tag durch.
