New Apple gear

Apple updates the MacBook Pros to the Merom (a.k.a. Core 2 Duo) processor, where due duo probably sounds very funny to Italians. :-) The update was long overdue. What I find interesting is that the battery life actually goes down by 30 minutes for the 15" model. Same old design.
An interesting accessory is the Magsafe Airline Power Adapter, which unfortunately does not work in a car. I want one.

"due duo" (the correct one :) doesn't mean anything different from "2 duo" but it sounds so bad!
