Who wants to install spyware?

Maybe this is holding up adoption of Internet Explorer 7.

Perhaps they thought the spiffy lens flare on the dialog box would distract you from the privacy intrusion.
Wow, that's not even a good lens flare.
Better see Chris Linfoot's article before proceeding.
I think incompatibility to Mac OS X is holding me back.
Well, Eric, my article has less to do with privacy than one other factor - the deep embedding of the browser in the base OS, leading to unexpected and unintended consequences for some third party, non-browser apps...
Lexware has also warned their customers not to "upgrade" to IE7. It appears that too many ISVs have built their application on Internet Explorer, only to see them fail when a new version comes out.
I cannot install IE 7 cause I am not using original xp ..
Was ich legitim finde...

Oooooh - better be careful before those lawyer gnomes find you... Stuff like this keeps floating around for years on the internet you know...
Alex, why do you think Hans is using a pirate version of XP? Did he say he's using XP at all?
For me, Firefox 2.0 and many issues with IE in general keep me away from IE 7. I haven't used IE as a regular browser in ages, only few sites which don't work in other browsers but which I need for work make me use IE...
Ragnar, unfortunatly the only reasons for using IE in the last year are some of the IBM sites. Otherwise I would not have used it in ages, too.
I installed IE7, and simply don't like it. It's just awkward to me.
I just love how IE 7 comes up in the Auto Update list along with all of the critical security patches.
Thank you, Ragner :-)
