Hmm, I think Apple will be upset 'cause they using a lower case "i" followed by a upper case Letter. This is trademarked!!!!111
like the colour "magenta" in germany =)
Actually, heise reports that the trademark "iPhone" for a phone based on computer networks belongs to a company which Linksys has acquired in 2003 and the same trademark for a mobile (I guess that means cellular technology) belongs to company named Ocean Telecom Services. Seems as if Apple was a little late to register these trademarks.
Well, how about MacPhone? McPhone? ApplePhone? iCell? iMobile? iMob?
iChat Mobile, iPod Chat, Apple Phone.... Lots of options.
Combine the two main words in the idea and you get....Hyphone.... :)
i received my "iPhone" last week. It is not from Apple, but has iTunes inside, it is the Motorola V3im.
