Pah, what's that all about? It supports IE 5+ and Netscape 4.x, the most advanced browser technology known to man, but not any of these obscure evolutionary dead-ends like Firefox. In other words, it's not that the browser does not support features that would enable it, it's just that it's ancient and they've not upgraded it.
You can knock this up with QuickTime without much effort. Don't know much about scripting embedded Real or WMP, but I'll bet it's not that hard. Or what about this new fangled Flash video that's seems to be all the rage with the hip kids?
I would prefer that in iTunes MS or Youtube too.
Cheers Marco
Slides? I watched the presentation on my Mac at home and I didn't see any option to view slides with the video. Perhaps that was because I used Mac OS X to access the page, or perhaps the site has been updated since yesterday.
You are right, the slides are only offered if you access the Video with a Winodws PC an MS IE. There an applet opens which shows the video and the slides. If you use a Mac or Win with Firefox it only starts the real media stram in Real Player.
Here is the Message on the IBM website:

You will need a streaming media player to listen to or view a webcast.
If you are not sure if you have one of these properly installed and configured, it is recommended that you test your player .
Firewalled @ work, we'd all love to watch it.
Can you download it anywhere?
