People don't like DRM, perhaps that's just because it's such a smelly word. HBO's chief technology officer Bob Zitter thinks so, he wants to ditch the term DRM in favor of "DCE," or, "Digital Consumer Enablement."
Yeah, right.
Repeat after me: DRM DCE is bad for the customer.

"Enablement?" They think that crap enables consumers?!?
Reminds me of an email Microsoft recently sent out about how they were protecting consumers from accidentally running non-Genuine Windows. Gee, thanks, Microsoft, for making it impossible for me to upgrade my hardware without calling you on the phone so you can approve my already Registered and Activated copy of your lousy operating system. Reason number 6234523590 why I buy Macs for everyone in my family now.
