As I already said in the previous thread on the America's Cup, I feel bad for the Kiwis because this series really deserved two winners, they were a worthy competitor. I look forward to the future races.
Jens, an international team with a high level of professionalism, quite a bit of luck, and a Swiss donor won. If you look around the sailing world, you'll see that every team is a blend of people from all sorts of countries because they understand it's a man's skills that count and not where he comes from. And there's no such thing as Switzerlands.
Congrats to alinghi...a gut wrencher race...and hey, I told you a Kiwi skipper would win! ;)
Lots of speculation right now that the alinghi-Kiwis are jumping aboard larrys boat for the next one...now that will be interesting!!!
