Nokia Media Transfer now officially supports the Eseries

Remove the profiles you installed yourself and hit the Check for Updates Now menu option.
Nokia has turned on Mac support for its phones across the Nseries and Eseries. You get a nice media transfer application, you get iSync plugins. Nice move. Much better than using the fugly PocketMac application I need for the BlackBerry devices.

Also bei mir kommen da keine E-Series-Profile. Du könntest mir aber Deine mailen, wenn's keine zu großen Umstände macht...
Äh -- vergiss es. Die Profile hab ich mittlerweil entdeckt. Kriege es aber trotzdem nicht zum Laufen...
Lass die Profile, wo sie sind.
Dann gehe in ~/Library/Application Support/Nokia Media Transer/Devices.plist und entferne das E50. Wenn Du nur ein Handy hast, kannst Du die Datei einfach löschen.
Die .plist hab ich natürlich schon gekillt. Das ändert leider nix. Bin etwas ratlos
Sodele, kleines Update von mir: Hab heute mein E50 erstmal mit neuester Fimrware geflasht. Und mein Datenkabel mitgebracht. Und das Update von NMT eingespielt. Ohne Erfolg. Egal ob über Bluetooth oder verkabelt, ob mit .profile von Nokia oder inoffiziellem -- mein Telefon wird immer nur als "teezehs E50 (not supported)" gemeldet.
Ich gebe erstmal auf und warte, bis Nokia die Unterstützung offiziell macht. Auf der Site ist auch weiterhin nur die Nseries aufgeführt...
Very surprised that it does not work. Make sure the software is not running. Remove ~/Library/Application Support/Nokia Media Transfer/
Then logout, login and try again.
It just does not work. "teezehs E50 (not supported)", whatever I try.
Problem "solved": The profile only lists the E50 model with camera (R170). I added my camless model (R171) -- et voila, it shows up...
